R.O.P.E. SERIES – PERSONA

Do you feel limited by the characters you tend to fall back on in improv? Do you often default to playing the same version of yourself, and wish you could stretch your character muscles, but don’t know how to go about it? This class will be a safe space for you to explore and expand your character repertoire. We will do specific exercises designed to help you create characters with a strong viewpoint that are unique to you, that you can keep in your back pocket and feel confident dropping into any improv scene. We will also focus on scene work that helps you make discoveries onstage, in the moment, that you can double down on to develop a character. Requirements for the class are having taken at least one improv class and a level of comfort doing scene work.
