AUDITIONS | UNSCRIPTED
UNSCRIPTED PRODUCTIONS & SCHOOL PLACEMENT AUDITIONS
What to Expect
Unscripted School Placement Auditions are a supportive, ensemble-based opportunity for us to get to know you and place you in the class level that best supports your growth.
Auditions consist of group improv exercises and short scenes—no preparation required.* Our focus is on collaboration, listening, commitment, and storytelling rather than performance or punchlines.
Optional Materials
Headshot & Resume (Optional)
If you have a current headshot and resume, you’re welcome to bring it with you.
*Prepared Monologue
Students interested in Bridging the Gap | Technique & Improvisation should prepare a 2–3 minute monologue of their choice. The monologue may be performed on book and does not need to be memorized.
Who Should Audition?
Placement Auditions are intended for students seeking admission into intermediate and advanced classes, conservatory-style training, or performance ensembles at Outside In Theatre.
Or, if you’re looking to deepen your craft, collaborate within an ensemble, and create narrative-driven work, we’d love to meet you.
