— prerequisites: audition only
Performances: TBD
The Story Studio is a conservatory-style narrative improv class where actors and experienced improvisers build full-length stories for stage and screen.
This Cyber-Noir edition dives into a world of power, shadow, and moral tension, exploring status, vulnerability, and physicality through rehearsal-driven, ensemble storytelling. Students improvise plays—not scenes—developing sustained characters and narratives that unfold over time with cinematic depth and theatrical precision.
This class requires either an audition or a prerequisite for admission. If you are interested in this class, please contact us at education@outsideintheatre.org for placement details or more information.
