Driving directions
From Downtown Los Angeles
- Take the 110 Freeway North toward Pasadena.
- Exit at Avenue 52 and turn left.
- Continue on Avenue 52 and turn right onto York Blvd.
- The theatre is located on the right-hand side at 5317 York Blvd.
From Hollywood & The Westside
- Take the 101 Freeway East to the 110 Freeway North.
- Follow the Downtown LA directions above.
From Pasadena & The San Gabriel Valley
- Take the 134 Freeway West to the 2 Freeway South.
- Merge onto the 110 Freeway South toward Downtown LA.
- Exit at Avenue 52 and turn right.
- Turn right onto York Blvd, and the theatre will be on your right.
Parking & Transportation
To ensure a smooth visit to Outside In Theatre, we recommend planning ahead for parking and transportation.
Parking Options
Street Parking: Limited street parking is available around the theatre.
- Check signage for restrictions.
- Do not block driveways.
- Be respectful of our neighbors.
Do NOT park in the car wash parking lot—violators may be towed.
- Paid Public Parking Lots: Two nearby lots are available off Ave 51:
- York Blvd & Ave 51 (closest option)
- Lincoln Ave & Ave 51 (about 3 blocks from the theatre)
Ride-Share & Public Transit
- Ride-Share Services: We encourage using Uber, Lyft, or other ride-share options to make your visit hassle-free.
- Metro Rail: The Highland Park Station (Metro L Line) is located at Ave 58 & Marmion Way, approximately a 1-mile walk (20 minutes) from the theatre.
- Take the Metro L Line (Gold) to Highland Park Station (Ave 58 & Marmion Way).
- From the station, it’s a 1-mile walk (about 20 minutes) or a short ride-share away.
