Quinn ALQUETZ
(they/THEM)

BIOGRAPHY

Quinn Alquetz  is performer, producer, and teacher based in Los Angeles. They have been teaching for over 15 years and, prior to moving to LA and joining Outside In, was a faculty member at the Hideout Theatre, Fallout Theater, and Merlin Works, where they generated curriculum and taught at all levels. In addition to teaching classes, they have also taught workshops locally and internationally on subjects such as storytelling, spacework, groundedness, and diagnostics.

Quinn’s teaching is rooted in mindfulness and self-awareness. They believe that identifying your strengths and natural tendencies as a performer is key to discovering your inner voice, maximizing fun, and building a positive relationship with both the audience and your scene partners.

As a performer, Quinn has been improvising for over 20 years and has performed and/or taught at over 30 festivals such as VIIF(Vancouver), SIIF(Seattle), DCM (New York), Improvaganza (Honolulu & Edmonton), and Out of Bounds (Austin) and been in countless shows along the way. In addition, they previously produced the Hideout Theatre’s Improvised Play Festival and currently Outside In Theatre’s Incubator and Virtuoso shows.
